It is with pleasure that we offer you a community who came together with excitement in 2002 to begin another Catholic presence in Washington County. Whether you are a visitor to St. Juan Diego or one of our long time parishioners we want to serve your needs. For those of you looking for a spiritual home, we provide opportunities for worship, friendship, and involvement. As St. Juan Diego continues to grow, we look forward to your unique perspective and ideas for our growth. We look forward to meeting you!Rev. Terry J. O’Connell, Pastor

Men’s Retreat April 24 – 26

Save the date! the SJD Men’s Retreat will be April 24-26, 2015 (Friday evening to Sunday afternoon). This is a great time for the male parishioners to come together, get to know each other and immerse in our walk with God.  This is open to adult men, 21 years old and up. The fee would be $150 to cover the board and lodging for the whole weekend and other expenses. If cost is a concern, feel free to talk to us on how we can help.

This will be a time of Faith, Fun, and Fellowship. And you know you need this rest from the busyness of our daily lives, and to be nourished spiritually. So come join us!

food drive40 Cans For Lent

This Lent, the St. Juan Diego Knights of Columbus and the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry are again inviting each parish household that is able to consider participating in the “40 Cans for Lent” food drive. The goal is very simple: to have each able household contribute one non-perishable food item for each of the forty days of Lent. The goal this year is to raise 4,000 pounds.

Here is how it works:

  • Bring 40 non-perishable food items throughout Lent, all at once, or little by little.
  • Place the items in the Food Drive barrel in the Narthex
  • The Knights and SVdP will take care of the rest, and report periodically on progress.

The items that are most needed:

Canned goods including soups, vegetables, fruits and meat products; non perishable dry goods such as cereals, baking supplies, hamburger helper style premixed entrees. Enfant supplies are always welcome, especially diapers and baby food. Thank you.
