Our Parish View Larger Map Address 5995 NW 178th Ave, Portland, OR 97229 St. Juan Diego Parish is the first new parish to be established in the Archdiocese of Portland in twenty years. In light of tremendous growth in the Catholic population in Washington County, and after much deliberation among the clergy and other advisors, Archbishop John G. Vlazny formally named this parish on July 31, 2002, the day St. Juan Diego was canonized. Although a parish is essentially a Catholic community dedicated to the mission of the Church, it is also defined geographically. Here are our boundaries:
